Join us for a relaxed, beautifully paced spring tour of Kyushu, Japan’s scenic southern island. We begin in Osaka, where we'll board the Shosen Mitsui Sunflower cruise-like ferry for a smooth, comfortable overnight voyage across the calm Seto Inland Sea. You will wake up refreshed in Beppu, a coastal destination world-renowned for its rejuvenating hot springs and therapeutic thermal waters. From there, we will explore Kyushu’s stunning parks and historic castle gardens at a leisurely pace, taking you through picturesque landscapes adorned with delicate pink and white cherry blossoms. Along the way, you will enjoy unique hands-on cultural experiences, shopping opportunities, and so much more, all while soaking in the vibrant spring atmosphere.

Your 2027 Splendid Kyushu Cherry Blossoms & Explorer 2027 includes: 

  • Round trip airfare via Japan Airlines from Honolulu.
  • 2 checked bags are included. Any additional baggage fees are paid directly to the carrier.
  • 8 nights of centrally located accommodations are included.
  • 3/31-4/01 (1 night) – Hotel Vischio Osaka by Granvia
  • 4/01-4/02 (1 night) – Shosen Mitsui Sunflower
  • 4/02-4/04 (2 nights) – Suginoi Hotel, Sora Tower
  • 4/04-4/06 (2 nights) – Hotel New Nagasaki
  • 4/06-4/08 (2 nights) – Oriental Hotel Fukuoka Hakata Station
  • Inflight meals, breakfast daily at your hotel, 1 lunch, and 3 dinners.

  • To secure your reservation, a $200 per person deposit is required. The deposit can be refunded until December 23, 2026. Any changes made after this date will be subject to additional fees.
  • Final payment is due by February 1, 2027. Package is non-refundable after this date. 
  • Special Assistance: You must inform us of any disability/impairment that requires special attention at the time of your making the reservation. We reserve the right to cancel the reservation(s) if the disability/impairment is unsuitable for the tour. You are also responsible for any costs and/or accommodations related to your disability/impairment, such as providing your own travel companion.

  • Additional baggage fee charges from the airlines.
  • Alcohol and soft drinks with meals.

  • A minimum of 16 participants is required for the tour to operate.
  • A valid passport is required of all U.S. citizens & must be valid at least 6 months from the return tour date. Non-U.S. passport holders must check with the Japanese Consulate to see if a visa is required.
  • Land tour costs are based on current currency conversion rates, which are subject to change.
  • Air ticket fare is guaranteed, but taxes, fees and fuel surcharges are subject to change until tickets are issued.
  • We reserve the right to change any part of the itinerary, including payment schedules, at any time and without notice.

4/08/27 – Depart Fukuoka on Japan Airlines flight 320 at 4:00 pm and arrive in Haneda at 5:50 pm.

4/08/27 – Depart Haneda on Japan Airlines flight 74 at 9:05 pm and arrive in Honolulu at 9:30 am (same day).
