Come along as we journey to the magical winter dreamland of Hokkaido! Each February, Sapporo hosts one of Japan’s largest winter events. Attracting nearly 2 million annual visitors, the Sapporo Snow Festival greets its visitors with unique ice carvings and massive snow sculptures larger than some city buildings. But this is only just the beginning! Our 6 winter festivities include visits to: Shikaribetsuko Kotan Ice Village Festival, Sairinka Light Up - Tokachigawa Swan Festival, Sounkyo Ice Waterfall Festival, Asahikawa Winter Festival, Sapporo Snow Festival and Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival.

 

And that's not all! Our tour offers even more exciting experiences. Your 2027 Hokkaido Winter Wonderland #1 includes:

  • Round trip airfare via Japan Airlines from Honolulu to Chitose.
  • 2 checked bags are included. Any additional baggage fees are paid directly to the carrier.
  • 7 nights of centrally located accommodations are included.
  • 1/31-2/01 (1 night) – Air Terminal Hotel 
  • 2/01-2/02 (1 night) – Kangetsuen
  • 2/02-2/03 (1 night) – Hotel Abashirikoso
  • 2/03-2/04 (1 night) – Sounkyo Choyotei
  • 2/04-2/05 (1 night) – JR Inn Asahikawa
  • 2/05-2/07 (2 nights) – Sapporo STREAM Hotel
  • All sightseeing with a local English-speaking guide throughout the tour.
  • Admission fees included based on itinerary.
  • Inflight meals, breakfast daily at your hotel, 3 lunches and 4 dinners.

  • Ice cleats will be provided for all tour members.
  • To secure your reservation, a $200 per person deposit is required. The deposit can be refunded until October 28, 2026. Any changes made after this date will be subject to additional fees.
  • Final payment due by December 9, 2026. Package is non-refundable after this date.
  • Special Assistance: You must inform us of any disability/impairment that requires special attention at the time of your making the reservation. We reserve the right to cancel the reservation(s) if the disability/impairment is unsuitable for the tour. You are also responsible for any costs and/or accommodations related to your disability/impairment, such as providing your own travel companion.

  • A valid passport is required of all U.S. citizens & must be valid at least 6 months from the return tour date. Non-U.S. passport holders must check with the Japanese Consulate to see if a visa is required.
  • Land tour costs are based on current currency conversion rates, which are subject to change.
  • Air ticket fare is guaranteed, but taxes, fees and fuel surcharges are subject to change until tickets are issued.
  • We reserve the right to change any part of the itinerary, including payment schedules, at any time and without notice.

1/30/27 – Depart Honolulu on Japan Airlines flight 73 at 11:40 am and arrive in Haneda at 4:05 pm on 1/31.

1/31/27 – Depart Haneda on Japan Airlines flight 527 at 6:30 pm and arrive at New Chitose Airport at 8:05 pm.

 

2/07/27 – Depart Chitose on Japan Airlines flight 516 at 3:45 pm and arrive in Haneda at 5:30 pm.

2/07/27 – Depart Haneda on Japan Airlines flight 74 at 9:00 pm and arrive in Honolulu at 8:45 am (same day).
