Tour highlights include: a scenic ride on the Shikoku Sennen Monogatari sightseeing train through dramatic gorge landscapes, a boat cruise through Oboke Gorge, and a lineup of hands-on workshops such as udon noodle making, chestnut tart experience, washi paper making, jakoten fish cake crafting, wasanbon sugar making, and an embellishment of lacquerware with gold & silver powder. Enjoy 2 nights in Dogo Onsen—Japan’s oldest hot spring town—then stroll through the stunning Ritsurin Garden, catch the thrilling daily maguro show at Kuroshio Market in Wakayama, and visit a sake brewery. You’ll also savor fresh seafood at Akashi Seafood Market, explore Kurashiki’s beautifully preserved Edo-period canal district, and many more surprises along the way!

To secure your reservation, a $200 per person deposit is required. The deposit can be refunded until July 1, 2026. Any changes made after this date will be subject to additional fees.
Final payment is due by August 1, 2026. Package is non-refundable after this date.
Special Assistance: You must inform us of any disability/impairment that requires special attention at the time of your making the reservation. We reserve the right to cancel the reservation(s) if the disability/impairment is unsuitable for the tour. You are also responsible for any costs and/or accommodations related to your disability/impairment, such as providing your own travel companion.

A minimum of 16 participants is required for the tour to operate.
A valid passport is required of all U.S. citizens & must be valid at least 6 months from the return tour date. Non-U.S. passport holders must check with the Japanese Consulate to see if a visa is required.
Land tour costs are based on current currency conversion rates, which are subject to change.
Air ticket fare is guaranteed, but taxes, fees and fuel surcharges are subject to change until tickets are issued.
