Join us on an incredible journey through Japan's cultural kaleidoscope this summer as we explore six iconic cities—Tokyo, Atami, Mishima, Kyoto, Awaji, and Osaka. Our tour kicks off at the lively Summer Festival Yushukan Matsuri in Tokyo, where traditional dances and colorful processions come together to create an unforgettable spectacle. Next, we venture to the coastal town of Atami for the exhilarating Kogashi Matsuri, a celebration steeped in history and local traditions. As we continue our odyssey, the ancient streets of Kyoto beckon us to experience the grandeur of Gion Matsuri, one of Japan's most renowned festivals. Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage as we witness splendid parades, stunning historical costumes, and the resonating beats of traditional music.

In between festivities, we’ll indulge in more fun with two hands-on experiences, sightseeing opportunities, omiyage shopping, and much more! On this tour, every moment is a celebration, and every destination has a story to tell. Your Exploring Summer Festivals in Japan 2024 includes:

Roundtrip airfare via Hawaiian Airlines from Honolulu.
Note: Airline baggage fees are additional and paid directly to the carrier.
8 nights’ accommodation in centrally located hotels.
All sightseeing with a local English-speaking guide throughout the tour.
Admission fees included based on itinerary.
Inflight meals, breakfast daily at your hotel, 4 lunches and 2 dinners.

A minimum of 16 participants is required for the tour to operate.
A valid passport is required of all U.S. citizens & must be valid at least 6 months from the return tour date. Non-U.S. passport holders must check with the Japanese Consulate to see if a visa is required.
Land tour costs are based on current currency conversion rates, which are subject to change.
Air ticket fare is guaranteed, but taxes, fees and fuel surcharges are subject to change until tickets are issued, approximately 50 days out.
