Join us as we explore the many sights and sounds of Japan’s third largest island, Kyushu! During the mid-16th century “Age of Discovery,” Kyushu served as a gateway for cultural and culinary exchange with Europe and mainland Asia. Today, Kyushu has earned international fame for its hot springs, active volcanoes, breathtaking scenery, and delectable cuisine. Kyushu’s historical roots as an international trading hub, lush landscape, and regional cuisine distinguish it from its Japanese neighbors, and we’re excited for you to get to know its unique personality!
Here’s a preview of our adventure: Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, Fukuoka Tower, MARK IS Fukuoka Momochi, Ishikura Sake Brewery, Okawachiyama Village, Mifuneyama Rakuen, Unzen Ropeway, a ferry ride from Kuchinotsu Port to Oniike Port, Nishinokubo Park for Japanese Iris, strawberry fruit picking, Suizenji Park, Sakura no Baba Josaien, Kumamoto Castle and a complete free day in Hakata!
